It has been believed for long that a heavier car would be easier to handle, thus, safer than a lighter car.

Here are the top 10 heaviest cars of the world, of all time.

#10. Bentley Continental Flying Spur – 5456lbs

With a base price of 202k USD, this model is easily a neighbor’s envy. Horsepower of 552@6100, and Torque range of 479@1600-6100 make this car a unique make. Bentley also decided to update the Flying Spur’s electronic stability program and offer optional carbon ceramic brakes should owners try and test that 195 mph top speed.

#9. 2005 Rolls-Royce Phantom – 5478lbs

The car for the CEOs, the Phantom 2005, had a top speed of 150mph, at max power of 453bhp@5350rpm.

#8. Bentley Continental T – 5500lbs

This model was in the production since 1996 till 2003. It had a top speed of 170mph, with a max power of 420bhp@4000rpm, and max torque of 650lb/ft@2200rpm. A 2-door, 4-seat coupe, this vehicle had a fron engine, rear-drive layout, with a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
